Updated 18 August 2008 - Thanks to Winston Eade, the organiser of Propaganda's OPEN MIC NIGHT for contacting us. The next OPEN MIC NIGHTS are on Sunday 7 and 21 September between 8.30pm-11pm. The 'I Need A Musician' Open Mic Nights are open to all singer/songwriters and musicians. They give artists the chance to perform and promote their music in front a live audience - Either original acts or cover acts are welcome. You can reserve a slot online at www.ineedamusician.co.uk, or call Winston on 07837 052845. Also they offer recording for every artist direct to CD, USB stick or iPod.

He is trying to organise a Rock Jam on the last day of their Beer & Music festival, which will be on Sunday 28 September. Paul is looking for any interested bands or musicians to get in touch with him. Also, he's going to need to arrange some PA gear. Would you like to play? Can you help him out with the PA gear? Updated 18 August 2008 - STONEPIG's next gig on their 2008 'Bring your Porker to the Slaughter' tour will be 23 August at the Station Hotel in Andover, with special guests ACROPOLIS. Updated 14 August 2008 - Thanks to RICHIE MADISUN for contacting us. Richie will be playing in a pre-Crispystock 08 acoustic gig at The Lamb, aptly title "Jam @ The Lamb". Ian Easton, AK and Mark from SION and Craig Davidson will also be playing to raise money for the Crispystock Festival on 13th & 14th September. All proceeds go to the Headway charity. Updated 22 July 2008 - The Autumn Season diary at The Lights is now published on their website at www.thelights.org.uk. Tickets are now on sale. Performances in September include THE HAMSTERS who will be playing Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top, U2UK - a U2 tribute act, and LEE "MEMPHIS" KING will be performing Elvis. In October and November, PRESTON REED, MARI WILSON, GERRY AND THE PACEMAKERS, THE BON JOVI EXPERIENCE, NIK KERSHAW, JULIAN LLOYD WEBBER and a tribute to Abba from VOULEZ VOUS will be appearing. Local bands will also be performing during November, including THE HAVE A GO HEROES, TORN OFF STRIPS, GREAT WALLS, IN DARKLIGHT and the JON WALSH BLUES BAND.

The Swallow is located off Pilgrims Way in Andover, near the Walworth Industrial Estate. They have only just started booking live music and will be alternating live music with their popular Karaoke nights.

Updated 20 May 2008 - Many thanks to everyone involved in the charity gig for Naomi House on Sunday 18 May with The Troggs.
